Dr. Angela Thompson Smith
Dr. Angela Thompson Smith’s primary qualifications were in nursing and social work. She also served a term abroad working at Paraiso Infantil, a Colombian orphanage. Returning to England, she gained her B.S. in Psychology at the University of Wales, in Cardiff, her M.S. at the Faculty of Medicine of Manchester University, England, and her Ph.D. in Psychology with Saybrook Graduate School, San Francisco, CA. Dr. Smith continued her education at United Way of Southern Nevada/UNLV where she completed the Certificate in Non-Profit Management.
Dr. Smith has a wide experience of research and management having worked as a research analyst at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) and later with the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research (PEAR) Laboratory, New Jersey. In the southwest, Dr. Smith became Research Coordinator with the Bigelow Foundation and then Executive Director of the Boulder City Senior Center. Recently she has worked as a private business contractor for individuals, businesses, and organizations around the United States and abroad.
She published Remote Perceptions with Hampton Roads Publishing Company in 1998. Shire was published in 2006 and her historical novel River of Passion in 2007. Dr. Smith is working on two new books: Simple Living: An Eclectic Gathering of Practical, Common Sense Knowledge to Live Longer, Feel Better and Live Simply, and a novel based on her years living in Colombia, South America.
Dr. Smith was ordained as a shamanic minister following decades of training and experience. She now works as a life coach, remote viewing trainer and shamanic practitioner in Boulder City, NV. She is available for speaking and teaching engagements, as well as research, private coaching and training.
